Hey, who's stupid idea was this anyway?

gearing up for Atlantic city I've always been interested in cycling, but it never occured to me to try something like this when I had more time and fewer obligations. I'm a 3? year old mom x2 with a husband. In my spare time I fix airplanes for FEDEX. I think the idea of cycle touring began solidifying after I read Barbara Savage's "Miles from Nowhere". I highly recommend this book for anyone planning a tour. My girls were 10 and 7, I wanted to take a trip with my oldest from Philadelphia, PA to Hershey Park, PA (I thought my 7 year old was too young). I couldn't find much info about cycling with kids, so I pretty much winged it (translation: "God; please don't let my children grow up to be axe murderers, please don't let my children grow up to be axe murderers...). We've done several short tours since then but this will be our first big one. That first tour was...interesting, but when it was over I knew touring was something I wanted to do again (some people never learn!). We've toured every year since, but never more than 200 miles and/or ten days.
